Movie Review: John Wick (2014)

+ Keanu Reeves’ stonefaced facade is perfect for the role of a retired hitman
+ Supporting cast includes Willem Dafoe, Dean Winters, Alfie Allen and Ian McShane, all playing their roles nicely
+ The world building is fantastic; you get a real sense that Wick is not someone to mess with before he even does anything
+ Well choreographed and filmed (not a huge amount of shaky-cam), very violent action scenes
+ another great soundtrack by Tyler Bates which fits in with every scene

> Wick has such a sexy ’69 Mustang.
> Random appearance by Kevin Nash. I enjoyed it.

Should you see this film: Definitely, if you are a fan of the more realistically violent action films. This is one of the best I have ever seen.
